Preparations

Get your Indian Visa and Travel Insurance including coverage of operating and traveling with a two wheel motor vehicle. You must obtain this on your own and it is not included in the tour.
Photocopy of your passport (main page and india visa page with the entry stamp) and driver's license. It is not necessary to have a motorcycle license in India, a regular car license will suffice.
Things to bring
The basics - clothes and toiletries, although you can buy almost any toiletries in India.
A summer riding jacket, riding gloves (the ones with the half fingers are best for warm weather), googles or sunglasses, bandana or small scarf to cover your mouth, sunscreen. You can also get all of these items on our shopping trip to MG Road in Pune.
Don't worry about packing your helmet. Helmets of different variety are also available for you to buy in India.
Don‘t forget to bring your swimwear and sandals for Goa. :)

Comfortable cool in the mornings and late evenings and warm/hot in the afternoons. 30 high, 12 low.

Traveling around India and traveling by motorcycle is inherently dangerous. It can result in serious or fatal injuries to you and others. You will be solely responsible for your own risk and to obtain your own insurance and hold harmless the organizers of the tour and any others associated with the tour.

then Crystal will return you a message asking for the following information:

-----3: Have you traveled India before and if so, where?
-----4: Do you have allergies and/or on any special medication or diet? ie,

After that, you just send a copy of your passport and a deposit of 500 euros and voila' you have your spot saved for you on our Exclusive Maharaja Motorcycle Tour!

Is this tour suitable for beginner riders?
Yes, we have lots of fun experience with assisting new and beginner riders on tour. The conditions for this particular tour are ideal; small country roads, wide open lanes with very little traffic and the care and support of our tour leaders.
We don't ride fast and we don't invade the small villages that we visit. We honor and respect them. EIP has its own unique groovy way to enjoy to the maximum of riding together and at the same time protecting and supporting our new and beginner riders.
Is it possible to join the tour as a passenger
and not ride a motorcycle myself?
Yes. Its the only way to travel India, via Enfields. We save some designated spaces for passengers only; you ride on the backseat of the Enfield with the crew. Everybody loves it.
